The first day (19 February 2024) and the last day (25 February 2024) of our visit were dedicated entirely to traveling.
Here is a detailed description of our achievements during the rest of the days of our visit:
2nd day (20 February 2024) – Study visit to Opole, collecting program ideas, getting to know the partners, discussing the goals and assumptions of the project, and preparing for the remainder of our stay.
3rd day (21 February 2024) – Visit to the partner school, getting to know Polish students, meeting with the principal and participating teachers, discussing and defining the nature of cooperation between students, working with textbooks on the History module and having a common dinner with teachers from the partner school.
4th day (22 February 2024) – Visiting the local museum, collecting some more program ideas (zoo, library, hydropolis, etc.), preparing quizzes for students for the second visit, discovering and calculating prices for the culinary workshop, buying awards for students and having a common dinner with teachers from the partner school.
5th day (23 February 2024) – Finalizing the list of participants, writing reports, preparing the financial statement, booking accommodation for the second visit, and inquiring about ticket prices at the local railway station.
6th day (24 February 2024) – Collecting water samples from the Oder River for the water management module and meeting with a local business owner whose firm we can visit during our second visit in terms of the economic module, having a closing dinner with all the participating partners.
